"God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home."

I like the ratty look of the illustration. Not the best ingredients and building materials - just like we are not the "best", but God uses us anyway. Hopefully there's not too much symbolism in the boarded window... for there is no condemnation for Christ's building :) Maybe the symbolic lesson is that we should seek to live in such a way as not to be an old, useless, dangerous building!
Great analysis of the photo Phil! I think you got as much from the photo (if not more) than I intended. Appreciate your metaphors :)
